Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Thursday welcomed at the Grand Serail, the Iraqi Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Jabr Al-Maliki, and Caretaker Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Hajj Hassan, on the occasion of signing a memorandum of understanding between the two countries in the agricultural field.
The Chargé d’Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy, Amin Al-Nasrawi, the Lebanese Ambassador to Iraq, Ali Habhab, and members of the Iraqi and Lebanese delegations participated in the meeting.
Premier Mikati affirmed the strong relations between Lebanon and Iraq, thanking ‘Iraq for supporting Lebanon in all circumstances.’
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Prime Minister patronized the signature of the MoU between the two ministers.
