Member of the Board of the High National Elections Commission "Abdul Hakim Al-Shaab" received today, Wednesday, the Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Libya (UNDP) "Mohammed Saleh" at the Council's office in Tripoli. The meeting discussed the latest developments in the municipal council elections process and ways for the international community to support the Commission through the (PEOPLE) project and what support expertise can be provided in the field of election management and implementation. "Saleh" praised the efforts made by the Commission in the previous stages of the current electoral process, which were accomplished at a high level of professionalism, stressing the commitment of donor countries to strengthening the democratic path in Libya in order to implement all electoral entitlements.
