The PM of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, commented on the budget changes, contrary to the agreement between Erbil and Baghdad.
Barzani said in a tweet on Twitter: A group in the Finance Committee of the Iraqi Parliament made changes to the draft federal budget, violating a prior agreement we concluded with Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani and his government.
He stressed that the agreement is the cornerstone of cooperation between Erbil and Baghdad, and that all parties must respect its provisions.
