Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia has announced an extension of the stay period for Libyan citizens visiting the country, increasing it from 14 days to 30 days. This new policy applies to all age groups and is subject to further extension.
According to Libyan News Agency, the announcement was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity. The decision was approved by Malaysia’s Ministry of Home Affairs and the Department of Immigration, highlighting a strengthened bilateral cooperation between Malaysia and Libya.
The ministry indicated that this extension aims to facilitate travel and residence procedures for Libyan citizens in Malaysia, with particular benefits for students and visitors. This move is expected to enhance the ease of travel and provide more opportunities for cultural and educational exchanges between the two nations.
