Dr. Manal Awad, the Minister of Local Development, met with Stephan Gimbert, the Regional Director of the World Bank for Egypt, Yemen, and Djibouti, along with a delegation of World Bank representatives, to discuss the progress of their cooperation on various projects, particularly the Local Development Program in Upper Egypt. The meeting took place at the Ministry's headquarters in the new administrative capital and included officials from both sides. Dr. Awad expressed her appreciation for the strong partnership between the Ministry and the World Bank and emphasized her desire to continue this collaboration. She thanked the World Bank for their continuous support in promoting sustainable development and enhancing the efficiency of local administration.
