Lieutenant General Al-Namroush Deploys Special Operations Battalion to Sabratha

Sabratha: Lieutenant General Al-Namroush has tasked the (33) Special Operations Battalion with deployment inside Sabratha to prevent renewed clashes and maintain city security. The Commander of the Western Coast Military Region, Lieutenant General Dr. Salah al-Din al-Namroush, has issued direct orders for this strategic move.

According to Libyan News Agency, the directive includes immediate deployment of the battalion, which is part of the region, to ensure stability and security within Sabratha. The General emphasized the importance of this action in preventing further clashes and maintaining peace.

Additionally, Lieutenant General Al-Namroush has instructed the Military Prosecutor General to appoint the Military Prosecution Office in the Western Region to conduct thorough investigations. This initiative aims to gather evidence related to crimes that have occurred or may occur due to the ongoing armed conflict. Coordination with assigned security forces is crucial for the success of these investigations, as stated on the Western Coast Military Region’s official Facebook page.

The Military Region has reiterated that these measures are crucial for maintaining stability, enforcing the rule of law, and addressing any violations that may threaten civil peace in the area.
