Tripoli: The National Security Committee of the High Council of State has announced its rejection of attempts to settle immigrants in Libya. The committee expressed its absolute rejection of any attempt to resettle illegal immigrants in the country.
According to Libyan News Agency, the decision came during a meeting held by the committee, chaired by Abdel Fattah Hablous, and attended by committee members. The meeting focused on the issue of illegal immigration, reviewing the accelerating and dangerous developments related to the phenomenon at all social and economic levels, as well as the impact on the country’s demographic composition.
