Tripoli: Libyan journalists are calling on their counterparts worldwide to unite in their efforts to expose the alleged crimes committed by the Israeli entity in Palestine. The General Syndicate of Libyan Journalists, representing Tripoli and the Western Region, has expressed solidarity with Palestinian journalists and volunteers who are working under challenging conditions in Gaza to document and convey the situation to the global community.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Syndicate’s closing statement during a recent celebration for World Press Freedom Day highlighted the severe impact of ongoing violence in Palestine. The statement condemned the loss of life, destruction of infrastructure, and violations against sovereign states as a significant blemish on humanity, urging a collective journalistic response to bring these issues to light.
The Libyan journalists have called for global journalistic cooperation to apply pressure on institutions and governments that continue to support these actions politically, militarily, economically, scientifically, and through media coverage. They have also appealed to humanitarian organizations and individuals worldwide to stand against repression and to take a stand against the actions occurring in Palestine.
