Libyan International Telecommunications Company Restores Services at Abu Salim Station

Tripoli: The Libyan International Telecommunications Company has announced the successful restoration of telecommunications services at the Abu Salim – Km 4 station following a sabotage incident that destroyed critical equipment.

According to Libyan News Agency, the company reported that the station had ceased operations entirely due to a power outage compounded by the sabotage of backup generators, resulting in a service disruption. The telecommunications company, which operates under the Libyan Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Holding Company, assured that its technical team managed to reach the affected station and restore power, thereby allowing services to resume in full.

The company refrained from disclosing any information regarding the identities of those responsible for the sabotage attempt.
