Berlin, Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Al Mangoush said Libya came to Berlin 2 Conference with a vision for restoring stability and conducting elections on Dec. 24.

Speaking at the end of Berlin 2 Conference on Libya on Wednesday, Al Mangoush said the Government of National Unity was keen to send numerous messages to the international community that read ‘we together call for elections to be conducted on Dec. 24’.

She stressed that stability was necessary for Libya to carry out the elections, and there were two main requirements to do that, first is the Berlin track and second is the track led by Libya which ensures its stability, the Libya Stability Initiative.

Al Mangoush pointed out to the achievements realized on the political track, including the ceasefire and the economic track, which she said were plausible as far as we are concerned.

Al mangoush said the Libyan people have hopes and aspirations and want to see tangible results. It’s time that people can see results, she added.
