Tripoli: The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Dr. Salah al-Din al-Namroush, convened a significant meeting to discuss the ongoing issues surrounding military salaries and related challenges. According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting brought together payroll officers from various branches of the General Staff, along with brigades and units under its command. The focus was on addressing the primary difficulties faced by military personnel in accessing their financial entitlements. The discussion highlighted the importance of collaboration with pertinent authorities, particularly the Ministry of Finance and the General Directorate of Military Accounts, to devise effective solutions for the regular and timely disbursement of salaries. The participants also explored the challenges faced by certain units in terms of financial and administrative matters. Additionally, the meeting emphasized the necessity of creating a conducive financial and administrative environment to integr ate graduates from military academies into the military system.
