Libya Leads Nordic Geopolitical Group Meeting at Pan-African Parliament.

South Africa: Libya chaired the meeting of the Geopolitical Group of the Nordic Region at the African Parliament in South Africa. Libya was represented at the meeting by Youssef Al-Fakhri, a member of the House of Representatives and the African Parliament, in his capacity as Vice President of the North African Group. The meeting also saw the presence of Saleh Qalma, the Rapporteur of the House of Representatives and a member of the African Parliament.

According to Libyan News Agency, the spokesman for the House of Representatives, Abdullah Balhiq, stated in a press release on Tuesday evening that the meeting addressed the request from the Presidency of the African Parliament regarding the vacancy of the First Vice President position, which is allocated to the North African Group. After extensive discussions, it was agreed that Mauritania would fill this position.

lize the acts committed by the Zionist entity in Palestine and Lebanon. This decision is expected to be ratified by the Presidency of the African Parliament at the conclusion of the session’s meetings.

The meeting coincided with the commencement of the General Session of the African Parliament, which is being held in South Africa.
