Tripoli: Libya's Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States and Chargé d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Egypt, Abdulmutallab Thabet, convened with his Syrian counterpart, Yahya Diab, who is also the Chargé d'Affaires at the Syrian Embassy in Cairo. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring avenues for improved cooperation and coordination within the framework of joint Arab action. According to Libyan News Agency, both representatives stressed the importance of ongoing consultation and coordination on regional and Arab matters. They emphasized that such collaboration is vital for supporting joint Arab initiatives and reinforcing the fraternal ties that exist between Libya and Syria. The meeting was further attended by Omar Al-Mashri, Head of the Political Section at the Libyan Embassy, and Mohammed Abu Saree', Advisor to the Syrian Ambassador.
