Lana: Launching of the first voyage to transport passengers from Tripoli Port to Zarzis Port in Tunisia

Tripoli -the first sea voyage for travelers will depart today from the Port of Tripoli to the commercial port of Zarzis in Tunisia, after years of stopping the sea trips between the two countries.

The Director of the Tripoli seaport, Misbah Habibi, to the Libyan News Agency, said, “the sea trips between Libya and Tunisia will start today, with the launch of the first voyages, coinciding with the reopening of the port station, which will be the starting point for weekly trips.”

Habibi expressed his appreciation and thanks to all the official authorities that contributed to the return of the voyages between the two countries, especially the Municipality of Tripoli Center and the workers in the station, who made efforts to reopen the station on the set time.

According to the sources of the carrier company, about 270 passengers and a number of cars will be on board of the voyage, and the prices will be economically considered.
