TRIPOLI: Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Acting Head of the YNSMIL, Stephanie Koury, reaffirmed the UN’s commitment to fostering an inclusive political process to enable the holding of elections, address the institutional crisis, restore trust among Libyan citizens, and establish a stable governance framework for sustainable peace and development. During her meeting yesterday with the Deputy in the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, they exchanged views on ways to address Libya’s political stalemate, emphasizing the need for equitable resource distribution and effective governance at all levels.
According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions between Koury and Al-Koni underscored the importance of creating a conducive environment for political dialogue and collaboration among all parties involved.
