Khanaqin Migration Department Prepare A Community Integration Plan To Resolve The File Of Displaced Families

The Department of Migration and Displacement in Khanaqin, Diyala Governorate, prepared a community integration plan to resolve the file of displaced families within the district.

The director of the department, Ali Agha, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “The department will start in the coming days to implement a community plan to resolve the file of / 9 / villages whose residents have been displaced to Khanaqin in 2020, due to security unrest and ISIS threats.”

He added, “The integration plan was launched by the Ministry of Migration and Displacement to end the displacement file and the suffering of the displaced throughout the country, and provides for the displaced to choose between staying in the areas of displacement and permanent residence, or returning to their areas of residence.”

He pointed out: “The department did not record any cases of displacement during the last period, and the displacement file was completely closed, with the exception of some areas whose fate is pending for various reasons and circumstances.”
