Jordan’s Foreign Minister reviews with UN envoy “Batelli” the developments of the political crisis in Libya

Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, stressed the need to work to find a permanent solution to the Libyan crisis that the Libyan people agree upon and preserve their capabilities, security and stability.

This came during his meeting today, Monday, with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, “Abdullah Batelli”, on the sidelines of the foreign ministers’ preparatory meeting for the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level at its 31st session, according to what was published by the Jordan News Agency. .

Batelli valued Jordan’s supportive stance for Libya and its people, stressing its keenness to continue coordination and consultation to get out of the crisis in a way that achieves stability and security for Libya, its people and its neighboring countries.
