Tehran, The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the criminal Israeli aggression against the Mezzeh area in Damascus, which resulted in a number of martyrs, including a number of Iranian advisors.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said in a statement: ‘The repeated violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria by the Zionist entity is an indication of the inability and bankruptcy of this entity on the battlefield and in the face of the resistance in Gaza and the West Bank, and evidence of its desperate attempt to expand the scope of war and chaos within the region.’.
Kanaani stressed that the blood of the martyrs will not be in vain, and said: ‘The Islamic Republic of Iran, in addition to the political, legal and international prosecution of these aggressive and criminal acts, has the right to respond to the organized terrorism of the Zionist entity at the appropriate time and place.’.
