New york: Senior officials from the United States, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom have affirmed their support for the political roadmap and its mediation efforts in Libya. Hanna Tetteh, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya, shared this development during a briefing on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Libyan News Agency, Tetteh informed senior officials from these countries about the latest political and security developments in Libya. The briefing was intended to provide an update on the efforts to advance the political roadmap, aiming to lead Libya to elections and unify its institutions.
