Intelligence And Security Arrest A Woman Accused Of Human Trafficking And Selling Girls In Baghdad

Baghdad - The Directorate of Intelligence and Security arrested an accused of human trafficking and selling girls in Baghdad, and arrested (2) drug dealers in Dhi Qar.

The Directorate stated in a statement: Through accurate intelligence information and after obtaining judicial approvals, the detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate were able to arrest an accused who was carrying out human trafficking operations and selling women and smuggling them out of the country, as (3) girls were found inside her home in Karrada area and she intended to sell them to the Kurdistan region, where legal measures were taken against her and she was referred to the judiciary to receive her just punishment.

On the other hand, through a security exercise carried out by detachments of the Dhi Qar Intelligence and Security Directorate and in coordination with the Narcotics Affairs Department in Dhi Qar Governorate, it resulted in the arrest of (2) drug dealers. And Kalashnikov rifles, equipment, and an RPG7 launcher along with its rockets seized in their possession Two arrest warrants were issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of Drugs.
