The results of a public opinion poll conducted by the Gallup Research Institute showed that the rate of support for the work of US President Joe Biden fell to 37%, which is the lowest level since his election to the post of President of the country.
In a statement, the foundation indicated: Biden’s approval rating was at 40% over the past 19 months, with the exception of July 2022, when it fell to 38%.
The latest poll showed that 38% of Democrats and 4% of Republicans agree with the way the US President performs his job.
In their evaluation of the economic situation in the country, 16% of the respondents described it as excellent or good, while 47% of Americans considered it bad. Also, 19% believe that the economic situation is improving, while 75% take the completely opposite position.
Last Tuesday, US President Joe Biden announced his intention to run for a second term in the 2024 elections.
He called on American voters to give him more time to finish the work” he had begun to do in office.
The White House confirmed that President Biden, who is 80 years old, is achieving success despite the problems related to his age.
