House of Representatives Spokesperson Denies Salary Increase for Council Members

Tripoli: The House of Representatives spokesperson has firmly denied any increase in the salaries of the Council's members.

According to Libyan News Agency, Abdullah Blihaq, the official spokesman for the House of Representatives, categorically dismissed the circulating reports concerning a proposed salary hike for members of the House.

In a succinct statement to LANA, Blihaq emphasized that the reports lack any foundation, clearly refuting the existence of any proposal to raise the salaries of the House members.
