Tripoli – The House of Representatives “HoR”, and the High Council of State “HCS”, stressed, Wednesday, that finding a way out of the political impasse based on the principle of joint responsibility, in addition to the need to hold the elections to unify the political scene and the executive power of the state.
This came during the meeting of the first deputy speaker of the HoR, Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, and the Second Deputy, Al-Hadi Al-Saghir, with the First Deputy of the HCS, Naji Mukhtar, and a number of members of the HCS, at the headquarters of the HoR in Benghazi.
The official spokesman for the HoR, Abdullah Belihaq, in a press statement, said that this meeting comes as an affirmation of the liaison between the two councils and as an extension of the previous meeting in Tripoli between the members of the two councils, in the presence of the first deputy of the two councils , in the framework of the consultation to reach a constitutional basis, on the basis of which the presidential and parliamentary elections will be held.
