HNEC receives the Japanese Ambassador to Libya.

Tripoli: Head of the High National Election Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayyeh, received today at the HNEC's headquarters in Tripoli the Japanese Ambassador to Libya, Shimmura Izuru, and his accompanying delegation in the presence of a member of the HNEC, Abu Karmarda. According to the Facebook page of the commission, the meeting reviewed the latest developments in the Libyan political situation and ways to support the efforts to achieve the current municipal elections. For his side, Izuru stressed his country's support for the aspirations and choices of Libyans to cross this stage and advance towards a future of peace and stability, commending the efforts of the HNEC and its endeavor to achieve free and fair elections that reflect the will of the Libyan voter.
