HNEC: Number of candidates for presidential elections as of Sunday morning was 37.

Tripoli, The number of candidates who officially submitted their applications and files for the presidential elections before the three electoral administrations increased up to Sunday morning (37) candidates.

HNEC director of media center, Sami Al-Sharif, stated to the Libyan News Agency that the candidates for the presidential elections who officially applied so far are Abdul Hakim Ali Bayou – Saif al-Islam Muammar Gaddafi – Asaad Mohsen Zhio – Faydan Ayyad Hamza – Sanusi Abdul Salam al-Sanusi – Mohamed Ahmad al-Mazughi – Abdullah Ahmed Naker – Fathi Hamad bin Shatwan – Khalifa Belqasim Haftar – Abdel Hakim Daou Zamouna – Ali Zidan – Mohamed Ahmed Al Sharif – Mohamed Ali Al Sharif – Al Arif Ali Al Nayed – Ahmed Omar Maitiq – Othman Abdel Jalil – Abdel Salam Younis Rahil – Fathi Bashaga – Mohamed Khaled Al Ghwell, Marwan Omeish – Abdel Hakim Akshim – Ismail Al-Shtiwi – Osama Khairallah Mohamed – Aqila Saleh – Daw’ Abdullah Abu Dawiya – Ali Bashir Al-Zweik – Bashir Saleh Al-Sharqawi – Al-Mabruk Mohamed Abu Ameed – Abdul Majeed Saif Al-Nasr – Mohamed Al-Hadi Al-Hatwash – Khalifa Saleh Saeed Mohamed – Bousef Attwer Boussef Ali – Mohamed Abd al-Latif al-Muntaser, Abd al-Aziz Abd al-Hamid al-Khouja, Abd al-Hafiz Abd al-Hamid Qadour, Mustafa Ali al-Majdoub, and Abd al-Rahim al-Mabrouk Halloum).

The candidates officially received applications and files for their candidacy for the presidential elections in front of the three electoral administrations until the end of the working day on Sunday, and their number reached (13) candidates. Burwiq – Ibrahim Oraibi – Adel Al-Lafi – Hatem Al-Kour – Ali Al-Issawi – Youssef Shakona – Khalifa Al-Ghaweel – Nuri Abu Sahmin).
