Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Health launched on Sunday an intensive anti-COVID 19 national vaccination campaign in various provinces.
Director of Primary Health Care at the Ministry, Dr. Razan Tarabishi said that 7667 health workers participate in the campaign distributing among 20 hospitals, 874 health centers, and 399 mobile teams.
She affirmed the importance of obtaining the third and the fourth shots to boost the level of immunity, especially for the elderly, people with chronic diseases, and health personnel, with a difference of 4 to 6 months from the last dose.
The campaign targets people over 18- year- old and lasts till 26th of January.
