During a promotional tour in China, Mr. Walid Gamaleldin, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone, met with Mr. Yu Jiang, President of BEFAR Group. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the establishment of integrated projects and the utilization of BEFAR's expertise in alternative fuel products to support KDIPA's plan for a chemical industries complex. Mr. Gamaleldin expressed admiration for BEFAR's capabilities in the chemical and green energy industries and highlighted the SCEZone's potential in promoting a green economy. He said that the SCEZone benefits from its strategic location, which offers access to renewable energy sources like solar and wind power.
