Head Of Government Of National Unity: We Consider Closing Borders As Precaution As Pandemic Surges In Some Countries.

Tobruk, The Head of the Libyan Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba said his Government was considering closing all borders in the country for two weeks, to face the surge in Coronavirus infections in some countries.

Briefing the session of the House of Representatives here today, Al Dbeiba said the measures, if taken, would be within the context of precautionary steps to protect the citizens’ health.

The Government is considering transfer of the National Oil Corporation and the Libyan Airlines to be headquartered in Benghazi, as well as a decision to transfer the stock exchange to eastern city.
