Hammad Orders Repatriation of Tunisian Engineers’ Bodies After Fatal Accident

Benghazi: The Prime Minister-designate of the parliament, Osama Hammad, has instructed his government’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to secure the repatriation of the bodies of Tunisian engineers who perished in a traffic accident. The tragic incident occurred on the Jalu-Kufra road while the engineers were on a work mission.

According to Libyan News Agency, Hammad directed the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to work closely with the Tunisian Consulate to facilitate all necessary arrangements for the return of the bodies of the six Tunisian engineers. The Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ensured the transportation of the bodies to Tunisia, with the process completed in the presence of the Consul General of the Tunisian Republic in Benghazi, along with the Director and members of the Protocol Office at the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The government expressed its condolences to the families of the victims, offering prayers for mercy on their souls.
