Govt denies news on postponing new academic year in governmental schools

The Cabinet's media center denied on Saturday 24/8/2024 media reports that the start of the new academic year 2024/2025 in governmental schools across the nation will be postponed. The center said it contacted the Ministry of Education which dismissed the news as groundless, asserting that the new academic year in governmental school will start on its due date on September 21, 2024. The ministry urged the students and parents not to follow false news, the center said.
