Tripoli: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the statements issued by the Houthi group targeting the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and threatening the security and safety of maritime navigation in the region.
According to Libyan News Agency, the ministry issued a statement on Thursday affirming Libya's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures taken to protect its security, safeguard its territorial integrity, and preserve its sovereignty. The ministry emphasized the importance of adhering to international laws and conventions as well as relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions to maintain regional peace and security.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation reiterated its support for all international efforts aimed at promoting security and stability in the region.
