Tripoli-The GNU Ministry of Oil and Gas has announced the resumption of pumping of oil from Al- Sharara and Al-Fil fields after they were closed by an outlaw group on Monday.
“The Ministry has reached out to the southwest sector and the local leaders about opening the Al- Sharara and Al-Fil fields, and these efforts have resulted in the opening of the valves in the afore-said fields,” the Ministry’s Communication office said.
The Ministry of Oil and Gas stressed that these efforts came as a result the Ministry’s commitment not to endanger lifeline of Libyans, which is the only income of the Libyan people.
