Tripoli- Committee for the Monitoring of the Conditions and Issues of Libyan Prisoners Abroad ended a visit to Algeria during which it followed up with the Libyan Embassy on the conditions of Libyan prisoners in Algerian prisons and measures taken regarding their cases.
The Foreign Ministry said on its SMS page that the committee discussed many issues and problems facing Libyan prisoners in Algeria, and was trying to find appropriate solutions to these issues, including reviewing the lists of prisoners and detainees and the actions taken by the embassy regarding them.
The Ministry added that the committee visited prisoners in the rehabilitation institutions in all states of Algeria, got firsthand account of the conditions of the prisoners, listened to their demands and provided them with their needs.
