Tripoli: GECOL continues emergency maintenance work to enhance network stability in Tripoli and Sabha. The company is actively conducting maintenance activities in key areas to improve the electrical grid's readiness, ensure a stable power supply, and minimize frequent outages. According to Libyan News Agency, GECOL announced on its official page that technical teams from the Tripoli General Installations Department executed emergency maintenance last night at the Contractors' substation within the Al-Karimiya distribution circuit. This maintenance included critical high-voltage welding connections aimed at bolstering the grid's resilience. In addition, the Sebha cable maintenance team undertook emergency repairs on line (1111) at the Al-Hadiqa substation, which is crucial for supplying electricity to several residential neighborhoods in the Al-Qardah area of Sebha. These efforts are essential for maintaining a reliable electrical supply to the community. These maintenance activities are part of GECOL's on going initiatives to enhance the electrical grid's efficiency, improve power stability, and ensure continuous and reliable service to citizens in the affected regions.
