Tripoli: A gang specializing in the theft of sheep and gas cylinders has been apprehended in Al-Karimiyah, located south of Tripoli. The General Security Service, in collaboration with various security centers, successfully arrested the gang, which had been operating in Al-Karimiyah, Al-Suwani, and Al-Aziziyah.
According to Libyan News Agency, members of the Force and Support Administration managed to dismantle the gang following extensive investigations and information gathering. The arrests took place in the Al-Karimiyah area, marking a significant breakthrough in efforts to curb theft in the region.
The detained gang members have admitted to multiple thefts and disclosed other criminal activities conducted in Al-Aziziyah. The Ministry of Interior has confirmed that the necessary legal measures have been taken against the accused. They have been handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation and judicial processing.
