Tripoli- The President of the High Council of State, “Khaled Al-Mishri”, accompanied by his second deputy, “Omar Bushah”, received today, Saturday, at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli, the French ambassador to Libya, “Mustafa Mahraj”.
The Supreme Council of State; stated on its Facebook page that the two sides discussed many current political issues in the country, especially with regard to the recent meetings related to the achievement of the constitutional basis consensual with the House of Representatives; in order to break the political stalemate and reach the electoral entitlement that the Libyan people aspire to as soon as possible.
For his part, the French ambassador affirmed his country’s support for consensus between the two councils to reach consensus on electoral laws and legislation and achieve stability in Libya.
