Benghazi: The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of four defendants in connection with the murder of citizen Murad Mansour Al-Warfali, as investigations continue.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Benghazi Court of Appeal has initiated a public lawsuit concerning the murder of Al-Warfali. The competent public prosecutor has inspected the crime scene, reviewed the injuries that resulted in the victim’s death, and requested an autopsy report to further understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office reported that it has received preliminary procedures from the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Four suspects have been interrogated, with their statements and defenses documented. It has been confirmed that, based on preliminary evidence, a decision was made to detain the suspects pending further investigation. The investigation is ongoing, including the collection of witness statements, to ensure the case is thoroughly completed.
