Jeddah: The Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Algeria, and Tunisia convened to deliberate on the ongoing crisis in Libya during an extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The meeting included Egypt’s Badr Abdel Aati, Algeria’s Ahmed Attaf, and Tunisia’s Mohamed Nafti, as they explored ways to support a comprehensive political settlement in Libya.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed on its official Facebook page that the discussions focused on recent developments in Libya. The talks aimed at supporting avenues for a political resolution that preserves Libya’s national unity and enhances both its security and regional stability.
