Tripoli: A meeting was held today, Sunday, between the Libyan and Italian sides, to follow up on the progress of security cooperation between the two countries, and in particular supporting Libyan efforts to secure the coasts. According to the Ministry of Interior, the meeting was attended on the Libyan side by the Director of the General Administration of Coast Security, the Acting Director of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, and the official in charge of the Libyan-Italian cooperation file, and on the Italian side by the representative of the Italian Ministry of Interior in Tripoli.
