FM holds session of talks with Lebanese counterpart

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty held Friday 16/8/2024 a session of talks with his Lebanese counterpart Abdallah Bou Habib. On his "X" account, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said that the meeting affirmed Egypt's unwavering support to Lebanon. The meeting also dealt with the latest developments in Gaza and its repercussions on its situation in Lebanon, added the spokesman. The meeting further tackled Egypt's efforts to contain escalation and preserve Lebanon's security and stability, according to the spokesman. Source: State Information Service Egypt
