Tripoli: Coinciding with the launch of the Flintlock 2026 exercises, Mosaad Boulos affirms: "Libyan officers are laying solid foundations for a unified army." Senior US Advisor for Arab and African Affairs, Massad Boulos, stated that the commencement of the Flintlock 2026 exercises in Libya is a crucial step towards enhancing military integration and fostering regional security cooperation. He praised the collaboration between Libyan partners from both the east and west in hosting these multinational exercises.

According to Libyan News Agency, Boulos, in a tweet on his X platform, highlighted that the efforts of Libyan officers are pivotal in establishing a unified military and security infrastructure, which is essential for achieving enduring peace within the nation. He emphasized that the exercises signify a high level of coordination between Libyan factions and their international allies, bolstering Libya's ability to address security challenges.

The US official also reiterated the United States' ongoing commitment to supporting these initiatives and collaborating with Libyan forces to aid in reinforcing stability within Libya and the broader region.
