Sabha:Fezzan University is actively preparing for an international scientific symposium titled “Fezzan in the Writings of Travelers During the 19th Century AD (Historical, Spatial, Economic, and Social Approaches).” The preparations were discussed in a recent meeting at the university's headquarters.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was chaired by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ibrahim Al-Mahdi. It was attended by the Secretary General, the Registrar, deans of faculties, and directors of departments and centers, who reviewed the progress of studies in the faculties and examined the quality assurance file.
In addition to preparations for the symposium, the meeting covered plans for a scientific conference on roads and traffic safety. Discussions also included the work plan of the Community Service and Environmental Development Office and its upcoming activities for the Fall 2026 semester.
