Fawzi : Egypt’s water, food security tops gov’t priorities

Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs and Political Communication Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi stated that the government's program emphasized that Egypt's water security is always a top priority for the government, and that Egypt's food security is a strategic goal for the government. This came in a speech by Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi during a meeting of the committee formed by the House of Representatives to study the government's work program Sunday, in the presence of the Ministers of Water Resources and Irrigation, and Agriculture and Land Reclamation. He expressed his gratitude to the special committee formed to study the government's statement for the discussions and democratic dialogue that took place, describing the deputies' observations as "beneficial proposals" that the ministers have rallied around.
