Tripoli: The European Union Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, engaged in discussions with the Attorney General, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, focusing on enhancing the European Union’s support for the Libyan judicial office. The meeting, which took place in Tripoli, centered around technical assistance and capacity-building efforts, including the development of the Criminal Research and Training Center.
According to Libyan News Agency, Ambassador Orlando emphasized the European Union’s commitment to improving oversight, transparency, and accountability, particularly in the management of Libya’s public wealth. He highlighted the critical role of the Attorney General’s office in ensuring the stability and prosperity of Libya for both current and future generations.
