Erdogan Extends Condolences to Libya Following Plane Crash

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan offered his condolences to the Libyan government and people following the death of Chief of Staff Mohammed Ali al-Haddad and his companions, who perished in the crash of their aircraft near Ankara.

According to Libyan News Agency, Erdogan expressed his sympathy during a speech at an expanded meeting of the heads of the Justice and Development Party's provincial branches in Ankara. He stated, "On behalf of my country and the Turkish people, I offer my condolences to the brotherly Libyan people, the Libyan Armed Forces, and the government."

The Turkish President confirmed that investigations have commenced to determine the causes of the plane crash.
