Enhancing economic cooperation is focus of Libyan-Tunisian ministerial session

Tunisia– A joint ministerial working session was held, Wednesday at the headquarters of the Tunisian Ministry of Industry devoted to further enhancing the prospects for Libyan-Tunisian economic cooperation in various fields, according to a statement on the official website of the Tunisian Ministry.

The session was held under the auspices of GNU Minister of Transport, Mohamed Salem Al-Shahoubi, and Mustafa Qadara, Chargé d’Affairs at the Libyan Embassy in Tunisia, on the Libyan side, and on the Tunisian side it was attended by the Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Naila Nouira, Minister of Equipment and Housing, Sarah Al-Zaafrani, Minister of Transport Rabia Al-Majidi, and the Director General of the Arab World at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

During this session, the ministers stressed the importance of supporting the efforts of all concerned parties to further develop the partnership between Tunisia and Libya for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.

The Libyan side expressed its satisfaction with the progress witnessed by the bilateral cooperation process and working to further improve it in various fields, especially sectors of energy, equipment, infrastructure, trade exchange and transport, in order to achieve common interests of both countries.
