Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mahmoud Esmat discussed with Jordanian Ambassador to Egypt Amgad Aladalia ways of supporting and promoting partnership, cooperation and investment in the different fields of electricity, electrical linkage, new and renewable energy and development of grids. In a statement, the Electricity Ministry said that Esmat underscored the depth and strength of relations between Egypt and the kingdom on all fronts. He also asserted the utmost keenness on developing bilateral cooperation in existing and future power linkage projects. The talks tackled the outcome of the 32nd session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee that came up with the need to support both the Egyptian and Jordanian power grids, in addition to exchanging experiences regarding green hydrogen solutions. The Jordanian diplomat said his country is paying tribute to the strategic bonds with Egypt and it is very interested in fostering them. He pointed out to the successful electricity linkage project between Egypt and Jordan and the importance of expanding to serve joint electricity goals in both states.
