Egyptian, Bulgarian FMs hold bilateral consultations

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry Saturday 10/02/2024 held tête-à-tête meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart Mariya Gabriel, the Deputy prime minister of Bulgaria, at the premises of Ministry of Foreign Affair in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).

“Well-established relations and close ties to enhance various aspects of cooperation in various fields,” Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid posted on his official account on “X” platform.

Earlier in the day, Shoukry received the Bulgarian deputy prime minister and foreign minister at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry and accompanied her to the Cabinet’s premises, where she will meet Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.

Later in the day, Shoukry and Gabriel will co-chair the meeting of the joint Egypt-Bulgaria committee, in the presence of a host of ministers from both sides.
