Egypt Exerts Strenuous Efforts To Stop War, Achieve Peace in Sudan: Sudanese Youth Min. To MENA

Minister of Youth and Sports Hazar Abdel-Rasoul lauded strong and distinguished ties between Egypt and Sudan throughout history, thanking Egypt for hosting Sudanese athletes in sports events and helping the Sudanese. In statements to MENA, the Sudanese minister said Egypt is working for achieving peace and stability in Sudan via negotiations between the Sudanese parties, adding that Egypt is exerting strenuous efforts to achieve peace and stop war. Abdel-Rasoul thanked the Egyptian government and people for their stance towards the situation in Sudan, asserting that Egypt always supports the Sudanese in war and peace. Sudan is keen on boosting relations with Egypt in the fields of youth and sports at the different levels, she said, adding that the Egyptian-Sudanese relations sets an example for construction and cooperation between the Nile Basin states.
