Egypt, China mull cooperation in air freight domain

Civil Aviation Minister Sameh Hefni discussed on Sunday 15/9/2024 with a delegation representing China Gezhouba Group for construction, which is affiliated with China Energy, ways of enhancing cooperation in the civil aviation domain. This meeting comes within the framework of presenting the vision of Chinese company on the possibility of cooperation with the Egyptian side by providing an explanatory presentation from their side regarding the project of designing and establishing a logistics city at Cairo International Airport, similar to what has been done at other international airports. This is to enhance Egypt's pivotal position and make it a logistics center at the regional and international levels, and in a way that meets the increasing demand for air freight services and enhances its position in linking the continents of the world.
